The character was inspired by the feeling of excitement of seeing your friends and participating in a in-person event after such long time.
The items and backgrounds were inspired by Austin's landmarks such as the Congress Bridge (where you can see the bats flying under it), the Sixth Street, Texas State Capitol, etc
